Dr. Renee Harris

Dr. Renee Harris | Woman's Hospital Bio

Dr. Harris opened the practice with Dr. Susan Puyau in 1998. She is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and received her undergraduate education from Louisiana State University. Her medical degree was obtained from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, and she completed her residency training at Tulane Affiliated Hospitals in New Orleans. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Harris is on the Board at Woman's Hospital, President of the Board of the Grief Recovery Center of Baton Rouge, a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a Senator in the Krewe of Jupiter and Juno. She also is an Associate Clinical Professor of LSU's and Tulane's OB/GYN department and has served as Chief of the Medical Staff for Woman's Hospital. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her four children, bicycling, and gardening.

Dr. Terrie Thomas

Dr. Terrie Thomas | Woman's Hospital Bio

Dr. Thomas joined the practice in August of 2006. She is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and graduated high school from St. Joseph's Academy.  She earned an undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Louisiana State University, where she also received designation as one of the Top 25 Graduating Seniors. Dr. Thomas earned her medical degree from LSU in New Orleans. She served as Vice-President of the Aesculapian Society, a mentor for Camp Tiger, and earned the Chancellor's Award Scholarship. She continued her medical training as a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at LSU New Orleans. During her residency training, Dr. Thomas received several awards for excellence in teaching. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Thomas enjoys taking care of her patients, spending time with her family, playing the piano, cycling, and reading. She is a member of the Krewe of Jupiter and Juno, for which she was recently crowned Queen during the 2013 Mardi Gras season.

Since beginning private practice, Dr. Thomas has been very active in leadership roles at Woman's Hospital. She is an Associate Clinical Professor of LSU's and Tulane's OB/GYN department. She has served on numerous hospital committees at Woman's, and has chaired the Medical Review, OR Patient Care, and Medical Executive committees. Dr. Thomas served as Chief of the Medical Staff for Woman's Hospital in 2012, during the hospital's transition to the new Briarwood campus. As the Chief of Staff, she also served a one-year term on the Woman's Hospital Board of Directors.

Dr. Yolunda Taylor

Dr. Taylor joined the practice in June of 2011. She is a native of Greensburg, Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. Her medical degree was achieved from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. She completed residency training at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA. Dr. Taylor is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Taylor has served as Chief of the Medical Staff for Woman's Hospital. Dr. Taylor has many outside interests and is currently an active member in the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, the Junior League of Baton Rouge, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and the Louisiana Medical Society. She also enjoys spending her free time with her husband and three daughters.

Dr. Pam Lewis

Dr. Lewis joined the practice in July of 2011. She is a native of St. Francisville and graduated as Valedictorian from West Feliciana High School. She attended University of Louisiana at Monroe, where she graduated magna cum laude. Her medical degree was earned from LSU New Orleans School of Medicine, and she completed residency training in the department of OB/GYN at LSU New Orleans. Dr. Lewis is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Lewis is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her hobbies outside of work include running, exercising, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Anthony Williams.

Dr. Britani Bonadona

Dr. Britani Bonadona | Woman's Hospital Bio

Dr. Bonadona joined the group in July of 2012. She was born at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and completed her undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University. She attended LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans for her medical degree and completed residency training in OB/GYN at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Bonadona is board eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Bonadona is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Outside of work, Dr. Bonadona enjoys hanging out with her husband, Brian, and her daughter, Victoria.

Dr. Jolie Bourgeois

Dr. Bourgeois joined the practice in September of 2012. She is from Houston, Texas and received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, graduating summa cum laude. Her medical degree was obtained from Texas A&M College of Medicine Health Science Center, and she completed residency training in the OB/GYN department at the University of Texas Health Science Center in the Houston Medical Center. Dr. Bourgeois is board eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Bourgeois is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, and an alumna of Chi Omega Sorority. While not at work, Dr. Bourgeois enjoys watching LSU football, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Adam, and her daughter, Halley.

Lin L. Dang, MD

Dr. Lin L. Dang, MD

Dr. Lin Dang graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. She earned a dual degree, a Doctorate of Medicine and a Masters in Public Health, from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She then went on to complete her residency through LSU Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge at Earl K. Long Hospital and Woman's Hospital.

She was selected as Educational Chief Resident during her final year of residency. She is also a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and was chosen as a March of Dimes Spotlight on Success recipient in 2014.

Dr. Dang also speaks Vietnamese fluently.
Outside of work, she enjoys attending LSU games, reading, baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Dang specializes in High Risk Pregnancies, Gynecological Problems, and is proficient in Minimally Invasive Surgery.
In addition to medicated deliveries, Dr. Dang also practices the following natural childbirth options, for the low risk patient:

  • Ambulation during labor
  • Use of a certified doula
  • Tub labor
  • Light diet during labor
  • Routine Pitocin after delivery not required

Colette Blanchard, FNP-C, ANP-C, MSN

Colette Blanchard, FNP-C, ANP-C, MSN

Colette joined the practice in 2005. She is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and graduated high school from Central High School. Colette received a diploma in Nursing from Baton Rouge General School of Nursing and graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She went on to complete her Masters in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University, specializing in adult practice. Her post masters certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner was received from Northern Kentucky University. She has also received certification in Critical Care Obstetrics from Vanderbilt.

Colette serves as an AHA instructor for ACLS and BLS, as a childbirth educator for Woman's Hospital, and as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students. She is involved in many organizations which include being a regional representative of Baton Rouge, as well as a member of the state board, for the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, a member of the American Nurses Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health, and a is a member of the board for the Grief Recovery Center. Her clinical practice focuses on the specialties of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), insulin resistance and osteoporosis.

Deborah Ashford, RN

Deborah Ashford, RN, MSN, FNP-BC

Deborah joined the practice in June of 2011. She is a native of Pride, Louisiana. Her undergraduate degree was received from Southern University and A&M College. She completed her Masters in Nursing at Southern University School of Nursing. Deborah is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Deborah is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Credentialing Center, Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and hanging out with her husband, Kenneth, and her three children.
